This October, I am planning to run the Chicago Marathon to raise funds for a very special cause—the children of Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.

Mercy Home for Boys & Girls gives children a safe and loving home. Since 1887, Mercy Home has saved thousands of young lives from environments plagued by neglect, abuse, and despair. With our help, Mercy Home is able to give them the chance not just to survive, but to thrive. Last year alone, Mercy Home served over 650 youth and families through their residential, aftercare, mentoring, and referral programs.

In the past few years, I have taken a more active role with the Mercy Home Community and look forward to becoming more and more involved. Our support will enable Mercy Home to continue to provide the resources it needs to give these kids hope for tomorrow.
