John & Kathleen Treanor are Marchin' for Kids!
John (96) & Kathleen Treanor (89), long-time supporters of Mercy Home, are looking to support one of their favorite organizations in a new way. They are going to be walking all month to raise money for Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.
John is pledging to walk a 5k in total and Kathleen is pledging to walk 15k (since she's the young, spring chicken) by Kathleen's 90th birthday on April 30th.
John and Kathleen, both born in Ireland, will have been married for 67 years this summer. They're both very active--John having been a professional Gaelic football player and Kathleen looking after their 7 children and never sitting still for one moment of her life--and are extremely excited to use fitness to raise money for Mercy Home.
